The best thing about the workshop was that there were not a lot of talks, and lots of time for discussion... I finally learned about lattice-based methods for quantum circuit synthesis, which is something that will be very useful to my research. The workshop was very helpful in making connections between students, postdocs, and other researchers. One of our students was already offered two informal jobs by workshop participants, and he hasn't even graduated yet!
